AFIRE Foreign Investment Survey

According to a survey conducted in January 2010 by the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE), non-U.S. investors plan to boost investments in the U.S. commercial real estate market by 62% over investments made in 2009. The AFIRE survey once again ranked the U.S. as the country providing the most stable and secure real estate investments, by a wide margin. AFIRE members also stated that they expect more favorable investment fundamentals to return in 2010, and that they are poised to move more aggressively on acquisitions in the U.S.
